Cops Injured in Redmond Shootout
Six Lone Star patrol officers were injured yesterday evening during an attempted arrest in the Redmond Barrens. According to the security corporation’s representatives, three Lone Star vehicles were tracking a stolen DocWagon™ ambulance and had moved in to make an arrest. The occupants of the vehicle were safely in custody when several individuals emerged from a local diner and nearby alleyway to intervene. Witnesses report that the gun battle was over within seconds, leaving the Lone Star officers down and the all six criminals fleeing down the street. It remains unclear if the interlopers were associates of the two men in the ambulance, or local thugs with a grudge against the security corporation. All six officers are recovering with medical care.
Lone Star has released photographs and virtual reconstructions for four of the six suspects, including three men and a woman. One of the alleged ambulance hijackers has been identifed as John Rollins, a elven CalFree citizen and former employee of Hypersense Inc. The other man in the ambulance was a dwarf, as yet unidentified, possibly a Quebec native.
One of the four attackers has been identified as Thurston Ryan Oliver Gallagher III, known criminal and younger son of the Gallagher family of Detroit. The elven female attacker remains unidentified, but is described as average height and build, with long black hair and revealing leather clothing. A third attacker is described by witnesses (Lone Star has not released images) as a human Japanese male, between 25 and 35 years of age, wearing urban camouflage clothing and combat goggles. The final attacker has not been identified and Lone Star has declined to comment on the man, leading to speculation of a possible connection to the security corporation.
